民視新戲《嫁妝》一場「嫁妝滿火車」的戲，讓石英被問是否有為即將出嫁的林千鈺準備嫁妝？他表示「就一個人」，沒有準備嫁妝，畢竟最重要的女兒都送出去了。

談到未來女兒婚事，石英說是因為焦媽媽上門提親，而且焦恩俊二度來訪，還下跪提親，因此被他的誠懇感動，「他對父母很孝順，孝順的孩子就是好孩子」。而對於焦恩俊的離婚和負面消息，石英表示，過去不重要，只希望女兒婚姻幸福美滿。
