謝欣穎詮釋過禮儀師、女同志等角色，她受訪時說未來希望能像偶像凱特白蘭琪一樣，有生動自然演技，帶給觀眾更多驚喜，個性直率的她自比像是脫韁野馬，瘋狂中有理性，談到一路走來，最感謝導演侯孝賢的賞識，她因而能與許多前輩一起拍戲，變成一個更獨立、強韌的人。
